PLÀSTICS TORNER is a family business founded in 1975 specializing in in the manufacture of plastics and their transformation for food, packaging for hospitality, for chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
Over the years, we have adapted to circumstances changes in the market in order to provide the best service without losing capacity production and maintaining our QUALITY levels.
Originally located in the industrial area of Poblenou in Barcelona, in 1990 it moved to the new facilities in La Palma de Cervelló, It is located in the industrial belt of Barcelona where the main road axes A-2, B-24 and N-340 and a short distance from the Port of Barcelona and the El Prat Airport.
After the start of its activity with the extrusion of Polystyrene (PS) for food use, products for clinical use are included and veterinary and the production of food products is increased in Polypropylene (PP). We currently manufacture all kinds of extruded tubes of precision and we develop with multinational firms of first order like MERK or BASF, applications for your latest materials generation, such as pigments and compostable materials among others.
Aware of the importance of the environmental impact of articles single use, we have adapted our manufacturing lines for the manufacture of BIODEGRADABLE and COMPOSTABLE products of according to current standards EU13432. This step has led us to multiply Our exports and to be present in almost all countries of the EU.
WOOD-STRAW
Wood-straw is the evolution of strings. Wood-straw is safe for the oceans, 100% free of micro plastics and made from raw materials of natural origin. The main components of wood-straw are wood and binders of vegetable origin. Thanks to the maximized content of renewable materials,wood-straw is the best option in terms of respect for the environment.
